Partner with local kitchens to provide hot weekly meals.
Hot Meals for Hope is our monthly meal distribution initiative that serves 150–200 freshly prepared meals to individuals facing homelessness and food insecurity across Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, and other surrounding communities. At approximately $10 per meal, we partner with local kitchens and caterers to prepare hot, nutritious meals that are ready to serve and easy to enjoy on the go.
Every meal we serve delivers more than food—it delivers dignity, kindness, and a moment of connection. For many, it may be the only hot meal they receive all week. By funding this cause, you’re helping us build consistency and hope for hundreds of people month after month.
Your donation ensures that no one is forgotten or left hungry. These hot meals not only nourish the body, but also open the door for deeper connection, trust, and access to additional support services when needed.
Your donation funds real meals, care kits, and outreach for those in need across Vancouver and beyond.
Provide 100+ care kits with essentials like socks, hygiene items, snacks, and water.
Distribute hygiene kits with water & addiction support info.

“I started volunteering a few weekends ago, not really knowing what to expect. What I found was a small group of people who genuinely care — no ego, no show, just real compassion. It’s reminded me why small efforts matter.”
-Victor, Volunteer
“I donated a few hygiene kits thinking it was a small gesture. A week later, I received a message showing how they were distributed — it felt incredibly personal. Knowing exactly where your donation goes is rare, and it means everything.”
-Nav, Donor
“I was just walking by and saw them handing out food — no cameras, no agenda. Just people helping people.”
-Maya, Passerby in Surrey
“When Sukh first told me about starting Car Bhala to Ho Bhala, it wasn’t about recognition — it was about doing what’s right. I saw his heart in it from day one. He wasn’t waiting for the ‘perfect time’ or a big platform — he just started helping. I’m proud to be part of something so real, built from pure intention and a drive to show up for people who need it most.”
