Every month, Kar Bhala to Ho Bhala assembles and distributes over 100 outreach kits filled with everyday essentials that people experiencing homelessness desperately need. Each kit costs approximately $15 and includes socks, hygiene supplies, snacks, water, and seasonal items. These kits are handed out during our weekly street outreach efforts across Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, and surrounding cities.

Your support directly funds these kits, helping people maintain dignity, comfort, and cleanliness in incredibly difficult circumstances. What may seem like small items to us can mean the world to someone navigating life without shelter. This is immediate, hands-on support with no middleman, no red tape.

Our Main Goals

With your help, we can expand the reach of this program, restock faster, and build trust within our local unhoused communities. It’s one of the simplest but most impactful ways to make a direct difference.

“I started volunteering a few weekends ago, not really knowing what to expect. What I found was a small group of people who genuinely care — no ego, no show, just real compassion. It’s reminded me why small efforts matter.”

“I donated a few hygiene kits thinking it was a small gesture. A week later, I received a message showing how they were distributed — it felt incredibly personal. Knowing exactly where your donation goes is rare, and it means everything.”

“I was just walking by and saw them handing out food — no cameras, no agenda. Just people helping people.”

“When Sukh first told me about starting Car Bhala to Ho Bhala, it wasn’t about recognition — it was about doing what’s right. I saw his heart in it from day one. He wasn’t waiting for the ‘perfect time’ or a big platform — he just started helping. I’m proud to be part of something so real, built from pure intention and a drive to show up for people who need it most.”
